Sioux Falls School District Budget
The Sioux Falls School District produces its budget book programmatically by fund.
There are five tax supported funds of the District: the General Fund, the Special Education Fund, the Capital Outlay Fund, the Pension Fund, and the Bond Redemption Fund.
The District also has four self-supported funds: the Food Service Fund, the Insurance Trust Fund, and the Post-Secondary Technical Fund.
There are also several Enterprise Funds (expenses are covered by revenues generated in the fund) which include: the Reprographics Fund, the Community Education/Kids Inc Fund, the Carpentry House, the Post-Secondary Scarbrough Center Fund, the Post-Secondary Business and Industry Training Fund, and the Post-Secondary Bookstore Fund.
