ELECTION DAY IS MAY 21, 2013                 

The School Board will hold its Election to fill two vacancies when the terms of Kent Alberty and Julie A. Westra expire in July.  The School District's annual Election will be held May 21, 2013 from 7:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. 

Petitions may be picked up in the Office of the Business Manager beginning March 12, 2013.  The petitions must be returned to the Office of the Business Manager by 5:00 p.m. on April 12, 2013.

Absentee ballots (for voters in both Lincoln and Minnehaha County) will be available at the County Auditor's Office, Minnehaha County Administration Building, 415 North Dakota Avenue beginning May 6, 2013 through May 21, 2013, from 8:00 until 5:00 p.m. daily.  Absentee ballots are available on Election Day until 3:00 p.m. 

Voter Registration Deadline for this Election is May 6, 2013.  Voter Registration Forms must be turned in to the respective county auditor (either Lincoln County or Minnehaha County) no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 6, 2013.

The Election will be conducted at 13 Vote Centers located throughout the School District.  On Election Day, the voters may choose any one of the Vote Centers to cast their ballot.  Vote Centers will be open from 7:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the following locations:

1-1    Peace Lutheran Church, 5509 W. 41st Street 

1-2    Memorial Middle School, 1401 S. Sertoma Avenue (enter on south
         end of building--gym doors)

1-3    Maricar Community Center, 400 N. Valley View Road

1-4    Sioux Falls Arena, 1201 N. West Avenue

1-5    Oyate Community Center, 2421 W. 15th Street

1-6    Asbury United Methodist Church, 2425 S. Western Avenue

1-7    First Lutheran Church, 327 S. Dakota Avenue

1-8    Wesley United Methodist Church, 1700 E. Sixth Street

1-9    Kenny Anderson Community Center, 3701 E. 3rd Street

1-10   Morningside Community Center, 2400 S. Bahnson Avenue

1-11   Instructional Planning Center, 201 E. 38th Street

1-12   Embrace Church, 2800 E. 57th Street

1-13   Faith Baptist Fellowship Hall, 607 W. 57th Street
