Mission: Eugene Field A+ Elementary recognizes that people are smart in many ways and allowed to learn creatively.

Eugene Field A+ Elementary is the only Arts plus Academics specialized school in Sioux Falls. Daily art instruction is fundamental in the philosophy of A+ Schools. Eugene Field A+ Elementary strives to provide a strong academic program by using drama, visual art, music, and dance to meet the needs of each and every student.

Classroom teachers and arts teachers collaborate to ensure that the curriculum is taught through the arts and the arts taught through the curriculum. This relationship ensures that ALL Children - traditional learners and nontraditional learners - have an opportunity to reveal their understanding of the standards through a variety of enriched assessments.

2013 Report Card: The 2013 Report Card reflects implementation under South Dakota's new accountability system. The system is based on a 100-point School Performance Index, or SPI. The SPI consists of multiple indicators to measure a school's performance. For more information about the SPI, to see report cards for other schools, or to see report cards from previous years, please visit the South Dakota Department of Education's website: http://doe.sd.gov/reportcard/index.aspx.
